Featured Artist of the Day: Tuzhidao

Tuzhidao

Taipei, Taiwan
Drawing, Fashion, Illustration

"I'm a Freelance Illustrator My area of expertise is watercolor, especially drawing woman's eyes.
I have always believed that fashion and art are integrated.
To be honest, I become anxious easily. Just like my works, I define a successful piece as being created in the limbo between anxiety and tranquility. If one were able to cease this indecisive swaying of the heart, a firm stability would be found. This feeling of stability may sometimes feel like a thorn in my side, but is also an integral part of me,
Such is my definition of beauty."

Featured Artist of the Day: Hush

HUSH

Street Artist

"HUSH's origins as a street artist translate to his contemporary work. Inspired by the portrayal of the female form, the artist builds up and deconstructs layers of paint and images as he works. The result is an enigmatic synthesis of anime, pop-infused imagery and graffiti exposing the conflict between power and decay, innocence and sexuality and the fusion of Eastern and Western culture.
In 2011, HUSH launched the successful installation program and exhibition space, onethirty3, in Newcastle, UK."
